Let’s get the ball down and play…

Welcome to my blog! This is the first of what I hope will be a regular stream of posts discussing the state of the game in Canada and beyond.

I will also be posting thoughts on Major League Soccer, the Canadian National Men’s and Women’s teams, EURO 2012 and all things football related.

So let’s get the ball down and play!

Don’t be afraid of new ideas. Be afraid of old ideas. They keep you where you are and stop you from growing and moving forward. Concentrate on where you want to go, not on what you fear.

  1. Great to see your blog is finally up, Jason. I look forward to reading it. Will it be cross-posted from/to your blog on CBC or TSN?

Now for the obligatory topic to throw your way: Would a new Canadian Div. 2 league, which of course is still under study, be feasible with the way grassroots and developmental soccer is currently set up throughout the provinces?
